The fabric is tightly woven and has a light 2-way vertical stretch, making it extremely durable. In addition, our stretch charmeuse is approximately 7 ounces per linear yard which is a better construction than most standard stretch charmeuse fabrics. This heavier gsm (grams per square meter) gives the fabric a richer feeling and a better hold when draping. The stretch charmeuse satin's spandex content makes this fabric the ideal choice for form fitting garments.
